I just shared my best mistakes at the Charles Darwin University staff conference… What!? Yep.

I was the keynote speaker and my talk was: “having the courage to try and the kindness to forgive your mistakes”.

I’m very proud of how it went. A mix of comedy and sincerity and a heap of stories about when I’ve buggered up and what I’ve learnt from them.

Mistakes make us human. With time they teach us about ourselves. They can also uncover unexpected and amazing things. And every time I’ve made a mistake I’ve moved further along this journey that’s my life. So… go make bold, fun, courageous mistakes and be kind enough to forgive yourself for them.
