Amy the Hilarious
Amy Hetherington is a high energy comedian and MC from Darwin; she’s energetic, fun and contagious. Amy engages her audience with an infectious combination of energy, wit, happiness and the bizarre. Amy has performed sold out shows at the Darwin Festival, Perth Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. And was a winner of the 2023 Perth Fringe World Overall Comedy Award and an Adelaide Fringe Festival weekly award in 2019 and 2022. She was also a finalist in the RAW Comedy Competition.
Amy has supported comedy legends including Dave Hughes, Tommy Little, Cal Wilson, Glenn Robbins, Fiona O’Loughlin, Jimeon, Akmal and Steve-O (MTV Jackass).
The contagiously enthusiastic Territorian has developed a reputation for high-energy performances, professional MCing and hilarious comedy. Amy observes the world through a positive but bizarre lens and shares unexpected observations with the audience with honesty and a witty sense of self. Amy performs regularly in Darwin and interstate and is booked for MC roles and corporate gigs.
