Today I had the pleasure of being a mentor for Young Change Agents alongside Katrina Fong Lim, Jeanette from PR Button, Tony Burns – “Dream Believe Achieve”, Mark from ZipPrint Darwin NT and Nitesh Raj Pant!

Young Change Agents is a design-thinking based social entrepreneurship program for 10-18 year olds that helps our youth see problems as opportunities. Our programs also build the capacity of teaching teams in design thinking and social entrepreneurship.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the young people involved and their ideas for fixing social issues. So often we hear about the ‘problems of young people’ but I think it’s much more useful to talk about how we can encourage them to think about solutions and social change. An amazing program and I wish all the students the very best with their excellent ideas!
