I was thrilled to host the “What Makes Territorians Great” event at the Botanic Gardens.

The event was coordinated by the Australia Day Council NT and featured three Australian of the Year Award alumni who shared insights into the work they do in the community and why the Territory is s important to them.

Hosting this event was an absolute joy and I enjoyed using my Journalism Degree to ask some interesting questions to keep the event flowing.

Huge thanks to Tony Burns, Bridie Duggan and Tejinder pal Singh for their beautiful stories.

Also if you know someone that deserves a nomination for Australian of the Year get online and nominate today: www.australianoftheyear.org.au

Here’s some photos from the event.
