I am incredibly proud of the International Student Workshop series I’ve been running with support from StudyNT and The NT Government.

The workshops assist students from all corners of the globe, who are studying in Darwin, to improve their networking, public speaking and confidence skills and develop their resumes and job interview techniques.

We’ve had strong numbers at the workshops, but more importantly the people that have attended have been incredibly inspiring, driven and motivating. The challenges of coming to a new country to study and find work are impressive and all the students I’ve met have approached these challenges with enthusiasm and an open mind. I feel incredibly privileged to work with these students and help in a small way to make their experience in Darwin more positive. I honestly think I’m learning as much as they are.

There series of workshops repeats in July. Here are the dates:

  • July 2: Public Speaking Confidence
  • July 9: How To Network and Meet New People
  • July 16: Write a Great Resume
  • July 23: Job Interview Skills
  • July 30: Confidence, Motivation and Wellbeing

Registrations are open here: www.internationalstudentworkshops18.eventbrite.com.au
