I’m very proud to be part of Sounds@Sunset

Five young producers are being mentored in event management by myself and LAUNCH Darwin (City of Darwin) to organise five nights of music and food on the Nightcliff Foreshore during the dry season. I’m working as their mentor, ensuring they complete necessary tasks, brand the event in a positive way and generally present a cracking show each month. The family-friendly, free music events at the Nightcliff Foreshore have really filled a gap in dry season entertainment – the first one had over 200 people attend.

I’m super proud of the group of young producers and stoked to have the position of their mentor. It’s great to see young people creating unique and engaging events in the community, and great that the City of Darwin is supporting the initiative.

Make sure you come down to the foreshore for a Sounds@Sunset this year.
