Absolutely stoked with the success of the inaugural Comedy Garden at Hotel Darwin for the 2017 Darwin Fringe festival. Amiable Communications provided the concept, marketing, design, producing and coordinating of the space and helped 24 acts from across Australia put shows on in Darwin – many for the first time.

We had 650+ punters come and see shows at the new venue across 6 nights. That’s 1/6th of the tickets sold at the Darwin Fringe Festival

A massive thank you to the team at Hotel Darwin for being so incredible supportive of this initiative. It was awesome and humbling to use a new space for comedy in Darwin and have it so well received.

Also humbling that Amiable Communication’s Amy Hetherington was awarded the Spirit of the Fringe Festival award for her efforts – it was a lot of volunteer time but 100% worth it!

Big love to all the acts, volunteers and Fringe Festival staff that made Darwin such a colourful and fun place this Fringe xxx
