I had so much fun MCing the 2016 Splashfest community event at the Darwin Waterfront.

I got to spend the day at the Darwin Waterfront interviewing stall holders and families and sharing information about Water Safety. The free family fun day was coordinated by the Water Safety Unit and Royal Life Saving for the launch of Water Safety Week. Water Safety Week is a Territory Government initiative held during the Territory’s wettest week in September focused on creating awareness about keeping ourselves and others safe in, around and on the water.

Huge thanks to everyone involved and to Jill Dowd from Royal Life Saving for getting me to MC the event – this is work I absolutely love to do!
