During the Darwin Festival I was contracted to take photos and make a short films about artistic exchange programs and skills development opportunities happening through curator and innovative thinker Britt Guy.

One of those programs was the Slovenia, Croatia, Australia Dance Exchange – an annual six week transitory cultural and artistic residency for experimental dance artists.

I had the pleasure of interviewing and documenting three dancers on the exchange Jess Devereux (NT – Australia), Zaimon Vilmanis (QLD – Australia) and Ajda Tomazin (Slovenia). The photos and the video will be used to help make opportunities like this available for more artists in the future.

It was such a pleasure to be involved, I really do love sharing people’s stories. Thanks to Britt Guy for the opportunity. For more information on Britt Guy head to her website: http://www.brittguy.com
